ISLAMABAD— Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will bring investment, latest technology and new projects to the region.
Talking to a delegation of retired army officers of Pakistan in Islamabad, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan, during his visit to China, reiterated his commitment and resolve to sustain all Chinese initiatives particularly the CPEC.
He said the joint statement released by the Chinese government at conclusion of Prime Minister Imran Khan visit was a great achievement and this visit gave strong message of unflinching Sino-Pak relationship.
The Chinese envoy said CPEC is a fundamental unit of overall Pak-China relationship and whatever political leadership prevails in Pakistan, it would not have effects over Sino-Pak friendship bond.
Yao Jing said the leadership of the armed forces of Pakistan has a large share in developing bilateral, strategic and military links with China.
He said Pakistani armed forces have rendered huge sacrifices in the war on terror to bring peace not only to the region, but to the world.
